Dik Veenman
I started my career with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College. Following three years in sales I returned to London Business School to complete an MBA after which I embarked on a career in consulting – initially with Towers Perrin, then Gemini Consulting before joining Smythe Dorward Lambert in 1993. During seven years at SDL, I developed many key frameworks and methodologies to underpin the company’s consulting proposition and was a key member of the Board that helped to grow the business before its sale to Omnicom.
In 2000, I left the company, setting up an independent consultancy beasyousay before joining Comma.
My clients have included – Corus, BT, Channel 4, Masterfoods, Nissan Europe, Fortis, ICI, Thames Water, An Post, Barclays, Marks & Spencer, and National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia.
I am Dutch but live in Cambridge with my wife and three children. When not working I run my daughter’s football team or play myself. I am also a Trustee and Vice Chairman of Mid Suffolk Mind, the charity that supports people who suffer from mental distress.
